The company declined to comment on its plans for the Kansas City market.

However, contractors are taking bids for a “Zoës Kitchen @Country Club Plaza.” Officials with Highwoods Properties, landlords for the Plaza, declined to comment.

Corbin Park sources said a Zoës Kitchen also is proposed for a new 10,000-square-foot building planned for the east side of the Overland Park complex at 135th Street and Metcalf Avenue. Other tenants proposed for the new Corbin Park building are Potbelly Sandwich Shop and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. Another 1,300-square-foot space is still available.
