Good progress has been made on excavating the east portion of the lot. Walked past a few nights ago and it looked like the excavating work could be close to completion.

A few concrete columns are peaking up above ground level on the north side. This project is going to be absolutely massive.

In the dimensions that aren't vertical, yes.

In ancient times(pre-1940), adjacent buildings were built to touch. Why is it that these new infill projects are not built to the same standard. Ex. (Courtyard Marriot, City Club, etc)

Agreed - this project is going to be a game changer. I’m super pumped for the retail on top of the 100s of new unites/residents that will call DTKC home. It’s going to connect such a dead/low traffic area of the urban core. The scale is nuts - something you’d see in ATX/ATL/SF/LA. Go get ‘em KC!

Over the next 12-24 months we will see the most downtown construction in decades.

Rental activity is busier than I've seen it in the 15 years since I started. I wonder, are people ready to start buying again?

This is 100% my favorite project in KC right now. It's going to be massive and really change the face of Main St.

yeah, this is probably the biggest game changer to date for downtown KC. It's going to totally change the vibe of the entire crossroads district.
