I added 4 Light, Strata, and Reverb. Bravo has too little information out so I didn't add it.

This seems to be the common reaction to any modern building that is not a glass rectangle... Must be a KC thing

TIL. This project is actually the second Loews project in KC, first being the Midland Theatre

Sort of hard to connect the two. Tisch brothers took over Loews theaters in 1958 long after Midland ceased to be Loew's. They then started tearing down theaters to put up hotels. Guess Loew's Hotel has better ring to it than Tisch's Hotel

Looks descent. I appreciate the want to match the other buildings on the skyline, but I'm tired of limestone colored panels and blue glass. We need some new materials on our skyline! Variation is just as important as complementing.

Has anyone noticed that part of Truman Rd has been closed for more than a year? Every major closure should be a road diet candidate.

Loews Exec Says Unfinished Hotel Bringing Fresh Business to Downtown
https://cityscenekc.com/loews-exec-says ... -downtown/A top Loews executive attending the topping off of his firm’s 24-story convention hotel project Wednesday said its bringing fresh business to Kansas City, downplaying concerns about filling a surge in new downtown hotel rooms.

Tisch said future bookings for the new 800-room Loews, which is scheduled to open a year from now, is running slightly ahead of his company’s projections although he declined to reveal numbers.
The executive did agree with the recommendation of the JLL study that Visit KC’s marketing budget be increased to help bolster Kansas City’s appeal as a destination for tourism and conventions.

Walked all around and up through the ballroom greenspace a few days ago, few things.
* The south facade where the ballroom is located is shaping up to be a better streetlevel experience than I feared.
* The ped bridge appears to be very low. BTW can we get a sidewalk open soon?
* the drive and future porte-cochère look to be turning into a nice space.
