There is nothing wrong with the grass in front of the PAC. That's taking the KC inferiority complex to a whole new level.

lol not liking a huge sprawling lawn in front of a downtown performing arts center is an 'inferiority complex?'
is that how u attack people that disagree with something so objective and non-personal. it's a simple aesthetic disagreement for god's sake.

i think the grass lawn works in front of the Nelson as it's large enough for picnics, events and other recreation.
but the grass in front of the PAC can't be used for anything other than what helzebug intended it to be - an ugly moat.

I see people using it for park things quite a bit.

It wasn't an attack on you. It's like KC tries so hard to be urban, that missing some of the great things about being urban. Great cities have lots of green space, some may be recreational parks, some may be like the lawn in front of the PAC. If you don't like it, that's fine, but I think it works there and wouldn't want buildings on it. Just like Barney Allis Plaza should not be developed. It should be redeveloped as a public open space IMO.

It's also a 1,000-space parking garage that was 100% debt-funded by taxpayers and is severely underutilized.

Neat! If they slowed it down a little bit, I wouldn't be so dizzy.

Way too fast, but it was nice seeing how these spaces we've seen in renderings actually connect

Yeah, especially when I watch it on full screen mode I remember why I had to quit playing first-person shooters years ago. (Too much motion sickness.)

that view would be a lot cooler with a lid over it.
