CMH is building a new outpatient burns facility, might be renovation of existing BOH space but I am not entirely sure.

New clinic building at Truman Medical Center on the SE corner of 22nd and Charlotte.
The bridge that will connect the new clinic building to the University Health Building on the NE corner.
The new clinic building shown as the sun goes down behind the new research building at Children's Mercy Hospital.
The new TMC Primary Care Clinic is now open.
Here is the new garage across the street.

Those red light bars represent genetic deformities that the center is working on. Kind of a cool touch.

I knew the vertical lines were the genome but didn't realize what red signified. Cool!

I noticed from the Highway that the tower crane was coming down today. Not a great photo.

What's the giant tower crane in the front yard of the TMC inpatient building? It almost looks like they would be adding on vertically?

I noticed that crane on Monday. I don't recall any news on adding floors vertically. It might just be they are lifting heavy air conditioning units to the roof.

Children's is requesting that 23rd street be vacated for the purpose of "eliminating the need for certain encroachment permits and the associated ongoing fees for existing pedestrian bridges and future building footprints and directing the City Clerk to record certain documents".
I believe the street will stay there but under the maintenance and supervision of Children's Mercy.

It would take a citywide vote to do that.

Already had a successful city wide vote to vacate park land that part of new research tower sits on.
