Somebody tell me honestly, is this the kind of place where I'm gonna hate the waitstaff?  I seem to have a really bad run lately of expereincing more than a few douchebaggy/snotty bartenders, and it's been making me prefer to drink my brewskies chillin' in my sunroom.  Where are all the nice bartenders?  (Oh, yeah, they need to be nice to women patrons, too, not just the dudes).

I've been really impressed with the friendly nature of all the bartenders. I haven't set at a table yet so I can't really comment on the wait staff, but the bartenders I've talked too all introduce themselves and ask your name...very nice.

There sure are a lot of bartenders named Sarah downtown.    At least 5 that I can think of off the top of my head.

Are they all the same age-ish?  There was a pretty big run on Sarahs/Saras when I was an R.A. in college, among my younger residents, and each of these girls would be late twenties around now.  Just a trendy name for those birth years. For dude bartenders of the same age, it's a lot of Justins and Matts.

Some of my favorite bartenders in the area are at Flying Saucer.  Jen, Sarah, Jessica are all amazing.

Heh, another two that feature prominently in the top ten list of female names for those in the 25-35 range (for the record, I'm not actually a Jessica, myself).

That keg fridge is kinda under-whelming, but it's not meant to be on display. The one at the Yard House at the Legends is quite impressive with the stainless tubes overhead for the tap runs.

Tom is a good bartender - the ladies seem to like him. Tad, who is currently a bar-back (maybe a bartender in training) also works at the Lucas Liquors store out south at Martin City. I think he has started running their (Lucas Liquor's) blog.

For the place to be open less than a month and me to know 4 of the people behind the bar on a first name basis says something: 1) I go there too often (not as much as some of you guys) and 2) They are really friendly.

Agreed, I'm not sure which is worse, that I know their names or they know mine.

Well for a while it was David Hasslehoff, but lately it's Miley Cyrus although it's time to change again.

I was telling them about the forum other day and they have been following as guests.  One of them figured out who bahua was and was pretty excited about it.

I had the quesadilla last night and it was really good.  Also, good to know that their kitchen is open until close.

Now this is the kind of critical info I look for on this forum.  Grazie.

Yeah, I think I talked to her last night. Brown-haired bartender with fantastic eyes. Sarah, as I recall. She told me that you have a bomb to drop on this forum soon.

Sorry to disappoint but I don't have any 'bomb' to drop.  The only thing that I had was the pic of the keg room.  I'll try to stir something up.
