as much as i like to boost midtown, i'd definitely recommend downtown too. a reverse commute for both and right next to the highway.
w. 39th is convenient to 35 via rainbow, i was extremely surprised the first time i took it after living near the 39th street corridor (albeit east 39th street...) for 8 months.
anywhere in the core i would think give you somewhat of an advantage traffic wise.
