What an excellent idea. A parade to welcome Jack back to Kansas City!Highlander wrote: Uh, that invention goes back further than that, it's called a butt. I don't understand all the excitement regarding fast food, in most cases the product is crap, all the same, and completely interchangable. I once lived in a small Texas town that welcomed the new and first McDonald's into town with a parade, I was hoping we were a bit beyond that in KC and the forum.

^ New stores planned for north OP and 7 Hwy in Blue Springs. Interesting that Jack in the Box is choosing infill sites in older, troubled suburban areas rather than greenfield development.

Jack in the Box is actually known to do urban-styled stores. They still use their cartoonish design, but they make them hug the sidewalk often with patios. Wouldn't be a bad fit in Midtown compared to some of the other suburban restaurant chains.dangerboy wrote: ^ New stores planned for north OP and 7 Hwy in Blue Springs. not a huge JITB fan, but i wouldn't mind seeing an "urban" location like that replace the westport chili's. if it stayed open until 3am, or 24/7, it would be a hit.

I'm all for late night dining, but I'm guessing a 24hour, dine-in Jack in the Box in Westport would be scary as fuck most nights.

2 free tacos tomorrow from 2PM-Midnight at all Jack locations. I'd be prepared to wait if you're going. Apparently, the new KCK store has very long lines. I know there's only one metro location, but I find this fact a little disconcerting.
