Based on the rendering and google maps, the existing building looks like a pretty standard 1950s-70s industrial building such as exist all over east downtown and the 18th and Troost/Paseo area.

It appears they are renovating and possibly adding on to the existing building, not demoing.

Yeah, re-reading the story, i see that.  Anyone know what the two buildings that were demo'ed looked like?

looks like it will wrap around the priority printing building, taking up roughly half the block between holmes and charlotte and 17th and 18th.

I personally think this sucks.  I've always thought that location would have been a perfect place to build a new baseball stadium in 20 years.  But then again, in 20 years this new building may be scrap iron.
