Come back to us when you look at scores and where those teams are ranked now. Also, we didn't get the benefit of OU absolutely crapping their pants for 5 minutes. With 6 minutes left, K-State was up 24-13, Notre Dame was tied 13-13. It's not exactly like ND dominated and K-State squeaked out a win. And K-State beat Miami by more points so I'm not sure what your point is there.NDTeve wrote:ND has 2 road wins over Top 10 teams. If we beat both OSU and UT, that will give KSU 6 wins over Top 25 teams. (including 2 road wins over Top 10 teams).
No team in America will have that resume at the end of the season. period.
I know a lot of things can change in 1 month. But, if KSU can run the table, I like our chances at a NC appearance.
ND has beaten 4 Top 25 teams: Michigan, MSU, Stanford, OU (with a game against USC left).
ND had better wins against both common opponents: Miami and OU
Sagarin has ND's current schedule ranked 10 and KSU's 30th
Not saying that after the season, KSU won't have a slightly better resume than ND but to pound your chest seems off. Right now, ND has the more impressive resume.
Notre Dame has won by a touchdown or less 4 times this season (all at home, two ranked at the time, one currently ranked). K-State has won by a touchdown or less twice (both on the road, both against ranked teams, one currently ranked).
I mean, you're really trying to say ND has a better resume than K-State when they beat Purdue at home by a field goal? PURDUE? The 0-4 in the worst BCS conference this season Purdue?
