So dry-duck tickets go for sale at 3:00pm, but you went there at 1:45 to get in line and somebody was already getting them..stacks of them...to scalp (presumably)? Was that the case...that's pretty shitty.KC-wildcat wrote: In any event, we go back out there at 1:45pm. Bring a cooler up to the line. In our minds, the only logical way to administer the dry-duck seats is first come first serve, one ticket per person. First 425 in line get tickets. Reward people for standing in line for 2 hours. This is how a lot of concerts do it. You've gotta be in line to get a ticket.
Nope. Not at the K
People were walking away from the ticket office with stacks of 20-30 tickets. Many of them turned right around and started scalping them for $20.
How much are the "dry duck" tickets at the window? ..and how the hell are you supposed to get them then, stand in line? That's crappy, I want some, but don't want to wait in line all day...they should be available ahead-of-time, online, like every other ticket in the damn stadium. And people wonder why we're looked upon as a minor league town...What a joke.
