The hydrant. You wouldn't put a hydrant in the middle of the street. The vegetation island is RIGHT THERE, just extend it over.

Old sidewalk can be fixed, landscaping can too. That hydrant is never moving.
It’s a lot more difficult to move a hydrant than just “put it over there” for what it’s worth, depends on the depth of the main water line, and the stem height for the hydrant.
I'm aware of what it takes to move a hydrant, that is why it will never move. However, that is a new plug that was added with this project. Which is why it pisses me off.
