Kansas City is going to be getting an expansion team in the Pro Volleyball Federation come 2025.
The league started up in 2022, and will be playing their inaugural season in 2024. This seems a great way to build on the momentum of the Current and really help KC to be on the forefront of forging new territory in US Sports.
No mentions of which arena they will use, and no specification was made that they would be downtown or downtown adjacent, so I’d still be slightly weary, but regardless it’s exciting stuff!
