They were lit for about 6 months and then went dark again.

He turned the lights off on the top of City Hall.

Seriously, though, what is going on with the bridges? A bunch of money was spent equipping them to be lit and then they just go dark. Is the city responsible for the lighting? I think we're owed an explanation on this.

And people want the government to do more and more for us when they cannot even turn on a freaking light switch.

Maybe someone with contacts at the Downtown Council can make inquiry?  *hint* *hint*

I still haven't found much about this. The lights are all still on but at about 20% of the brightness, making it almost not worth the trouble. In fact, it makes the HOA Bridge look worse.

Downtown Council. It was their baby and they put in a lot of the  money for it, if I'm not mistaken.

I've contacted the action center on this. I'll see if I can stir up anything with DTC as well.

The reply said that the bridge lighting it maintained by MoDOT and that they have been informed.

The Paseo lighting appears to be completely turned off now.  Whatever happened to the idea of varying the colors on the Broadway Bridge for different occasions?  It would have been awesome to see the bridge lit up in yellow for the recent MU-KU game...

Thats MODOT for you    I don't think any state agency has ever been as bad as them, They run around like a bunch of retards humping doorknobs.

It was good while it lasted, but it looks like each of the major bridges has gone completely dark for the last couple of years now. Pretty sad. Super easy way to have a huge positive impact on visitors and residents. But here we are, dark again.
