The crazy thing about the 2007 streetview is how bad the entrance to Observation Park used to be.

The last I knew the house on the far left was finished, and the foundation for second house from the left was being constructed.

Great houses and I'm sure great views. No way I'd live up there. That hill from Summit is next level. Kill any walkabikity.

It's not that bad! Especially if you have a couple of beers at the bottom before you head back up.KCPowercat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 8:29 am Great houses and I'm sure great views. No way I'd live up there. That hill from Summit is next level. Kill any walkabikity.

Biking that hill seems like a challenge. I've known some who do it for "fun", but I fail to see the entertainment value, haha.

Re: Westside happenings
Not technically the West Side but germane to the area:
It's a struggle from the article to see exactly where this development will happen. The neighborhood is vehemently opposed to the concept and the final product does seem extremely expensive relative for the available space per apartment. From the poor quality of the rendering provided it's difficult to tell what this will ultimately look like but I expect it to look like crap.

Drove by this today. It's just north of WDAF. It's got a definite DIY look to it right now.

The drawing is a different project than the containers.
Must have changed since it was made
