If anyone is having trouble discerning this image like I did, it might help to know that north is to the top right and the brick structure is the east wall of the Midwest hotel building

In the new rendering it appears that the SE corner portion next to the restaurant along 20th street lost a floor.TheLastGentleman wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:03 pm The new construction looks far better in the new renderings than previous ones. The colors in the original renderings always made it look too clashing.

I still count 7 floors. To me, it looks like they hid a second floor towards the bottom.Critical_Mass wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 11:21 amIn the new rendering it appears that the SE corner portion next to the restaurant along 20th street lost a floor.TheLastGentleman wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2019 9:03 pm The new construction looks far better in the new renderings than previous ones. Their other projects for starters. Not clear if based in Chicago or Detroit but local media implied they are based out of Chicago...

The interiors a bit gaudy for my tastes but good to see some broader variety of options.
Did anyone else notice the solar panels?

The solar panels are currently above gown gallery (or whatever the building is to the East of it).earthling wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 3:38 pmTheir other projects for starters. Not clear if based in Chicago or Detroit but local media implied they are based out of Chicago...

Which the gown gallery is directly north of this project. Look at the orientation of the Midwest Hotel (the pool), and you can clearly tell it is just the current building with the current solar panels.flyingember wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 8:26 amThe building with the solar panels is northwest of the project. East is down and to the right the direction of the gray corner in the rendering/drawing

Is the "Winter Occupancy" sign for this or next winter?
