Suppose we could still do this? Absolutely not trying to put anyone on the spot, but we have people on here Dave, strangerthings who seem to have connections or at least know the right people to talk to.

On the kchistory site, there's a listing for north lawn designs. You have to special order it, though, which I have not doneKCTOGA wrote:Suppose we could still do this? This is the National WW1 Museum and Memorial. Let's get Federal Funding for this. Just have a local senator or representative to slide this into some other bill. Similar to how making it the "national" museum and memorial was slide into a military bill.KCTOGA wrote:Suppose we could still do this? Is Grand severed in this rendering? That would have been very bad.

I was on UrbanPlanet today and there is a thread for "Twin Towers on Grand" known as Wellington Place. Any renderings of that?

I think the Wellington Place towers project died because of failure to win economic incentives combined with the economic crash of 2008.

1983 proposal for Petticoat lane. This view looks East, with the Harzfeld's Building on the right. Note that it would've at least preserved the Waldheim Building, seen on the left, which was demolished for 1 Petticoat Lane.

Early version of the Hyatt Regency overlooking BAP. You can see the Folly theater on the left and the Lyric in the background.
