Looks better than 95% of what gets built in any of those places, especially Toronto, which is boring even by Canadian standards. I don’t think it’s exactly iconic, but it’s a nice looking building, by the low, low bar of our day.

the view down west pine (the above photo of west pine at the intersection w/ euclid) is becoming semi-unrecognizable, and much more urban/active than before with the shake shack, apartments/condos/balconies, the new pub built into the ground floor of the older residential building, and whole foods with its big patio. it was previously kind of a dead corner between the classic euclid activity nodes.

Found 2 new renderings of the tower (amenity deck and the landscaping along Kingshighway). At least they show some things up close. I wish there were more perspectives of the tower.

Progress photos from 10/22.

And webcam progress photos from today. The podium just had it's second floor deck poured while the ramp and partial decking for floor 3 are going in. This means that the side facing the Chase is half way done (Podium wise). Once the podium is finished, the tower will fly. The slanted walls are become more prevalent.

slightly out of date (from late august), but it shows how it's filling in the streetwall along kingshighway, something like the midwestern central park it was meant to be. there's still a few missing teeth...hope to have another tower fill the last big gap or two soon. this guy really will have raised the bar for design, though.
