The monotonous sky wall in the background really bothers me. Science just did it that way because it’s too cheap to make lots of interesting skies like they have in other, cooler planets.

Clouds are so cheap looking though, and they keep using the same color. Maybe if they used some higher quality vapors like in Chicago, NYC, or Boise people would take us seriously.

Never been to Boise, but if they use some high quality vapors in the sky, I'll have to make the trip
Yeah and they’ve put aside 10% of their sky for low income residents.

No idea when they're going to start the buildout for the Spark space.
Stopped into the Downtown Neighborhood Association open house over there last week. Beautiful units, beautiful common spaces. The 8th (I think?) floor amenity area was very impressive. A lovely place all around.

It's almost as if competition works.

I'm fairly sure you're being sarcastic, but just in case, there's always an article available

i kind of expected a bimodal distribution—seems like an individual apartment operation could try to cut vacancy by offering lower rates to new applicants and try to cut associated losses by targeting renewals that are unlikely to move with higher rates. for various reasons my apartment should perceive me as a low flight risk. but maybe they value me highly for my tendency to skip the building's social events, thus leaving more booze to spread around.

still, thanks cordish! now, can someone turn the mark twain building back into some swanky ass old timey club so i can blow my savings in one place?

Nice integration of parking entrance and loading dock, minimizing pedestrian impact. I wish the Truman Road windows were completely transparent (they are heavily polarized or tinted), but that sun is a bear.

the front (Truman Rd) entrance is a sexy mf entrance. We need to get that cap built for most people to enjoy it but you can tell they had it in mind.

Finally got a chance to go through two light. I really liked it. Looks like it would be a great place to live.

Just looking at the pool gave me a panic attack though.

Invites are out for the opening ceremony next week. I'm pretty sure all you had to do was be in the email list.
