The Rabbit Hole KC- The World's First Explorastorium
If you have any extra money at all, you should consider donating to this project. It's a great example of the type of creativity that's generated in this city. AND there's no better place for the final building than in the Crossroads. Right now, the org is at 34% of its $150,000 goal.

that's a temporary installation, i believe. they're still based on southwest boulevard until they find a permanent home.grovester wrote:Bumped into them Friday, didn't realize they had moved to 17th/Oak.

Rabbit Hole has officially found a home in NKC. Located at 919 E. 14th Ave. They said they looked all over Xroads and DT, but were priced out. What an utter shame they couldn't make it work in East Xroads, but how awesome for NKC!

Interesting choice. Looks like a 150,000 square foot building?! I went back and looked through some of their fundraising stuff and they were looking for a building one third to one half that size.
https://www.palmentere.com/ is currently there. The really good highway visibility can't be a bad thing either.

Peek inside 'The Rabbit Hole', an immersive children's lit museum being built in NKC
https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/pe ... ilt-in-nkcYou may have seen the rabbits hopping along in front of the Kansas City skyline in North Kansas City, but did you know inside that warehouse they’re working to bring the pages of children’s literature to life?
Debbie Pettid and Pete Cowdin hope to open The Rabbit hOle in fall 2023.
