Mizzou WR Dorial Green Beckham has been suspended indefinitely by the university.

The much more bizarre story is actually on the basketball side of Mizzou athletics. For whatever reasons, Louisville transfer Zach Price is out to get Earnest Ross - he's rammed his car and physically attacked Ross and his girlfriend. Story in KC paper. I'd be surprised right now if Price ever plays at Mizzou.KCMax wrote:Mizzou WR Dorial Green Beckham has been suspended indefinitely by the university.

Will Mauk be a sophomore or junior? He has looked very competent and very much like a bonafide NFL QB prospect. Will be very difficult for anyone to unseat.

Looks like DGB has been dismissed from the football team too. The latter surprised me but all this happening about the same time Mizzou gets smeared by a report on the suicide of a female swimmer after a football player allegedly raped her didn't help their situations.KCMax wrote:Price has been dismissed from the team.Highlander wrote:The much more bizarre story is actually on the basketball side of Mizzou athletics. Rumors DGB is looking to transfer to Oklahoma. He'd have to sit out a year, making it unlikely.

Aren't his only options sitting out a year no matter where he goes or declaring for the NFL draft?

Collin Klein isn't going to Canada anymore. He's coming back to Manhattan for a TBA coaching position.

He can transfer to an FCS school and not sit a year.AllThingsKC wrote:Aren't his only options sitting out a year no matter where he goes or declaring for the NFL draft?

I think he san transfer to any non-SEC school and play immediately, since that's the only conference that counts. Hope I get a refund on my sweet confederate flag MIZ-DGB-SEC-ZOU tattoo, though.KCMax wrote:He can transfer to an FCS school and not sit a year.AllThingsKC wrote:Aren't his only options sitting out a year no matter where he goes or declaring for the NFL draft?

Re: 2014 - 2015 College Football Season
He's going to OU - and will sit out. I suspect he could still enter the draft next spring and never play a down for OU. Makes it a bit risky for OU giving up a scholarship to a guy who might be going simply to train and practice with no intention of ever playing.AllThingsKC wrote:Aren't his only options sitting out a year no matter where he goes or declaring for the NFL draft?

Not related to this year, but K-State and Mississippi State have agreed to a home-and-home series 2018 and 2019.
