If you go to Hulu and search for a show called after hours with Daniel there's an episode called Cochon

http://www.hulu.com/videos/search?query ... ith+Daniel

He also did a few other restaurants in the quarter.
His shows rock.
I am a commercial supplier.
I may branch out into retail when the economy picks up.
I do not see many people paying $7-$8 a pound for local artisan bacon, pancetta and sausages, while the economy is at this low point.

I actually own "after hours" but have not been able to watch it yet.

Forget about NOLA, you need to go visit Au Pied du Cochon in Montreal.  The Foie Gras and pork mecca of the world.

New sushi place in the River Market. It's in the northwest corner of the main market area between the place that has shawarma :D , Habashi House, I think, and the coffee place.

Cool! I find it very strange that there wasn't a sushi place in the vicinity of the River Market neighborhood till now,or is there one that I totally missed for 15 years:) The closest place would be in the PnL district or even north of the river. Still a distance for people who live and work near the Rivermarket or Columbus park.

Ha, I don't know of one. I feel like it's something that I didn't realize I was missing--until this shop opened.

8pm. Not too late, but evening hours are a huge plus.

Had lunch there today. Not at all bad for fast food-style sushi! The prices are pretty darn reasonable, and the owner guy seems like a super nice fellow. Good luck to them.
