Bannister Building
There is a new construction site just north of the Grandview Triangle and I have been wondering what it will be. It's just south of the Home Depot between 435 and 71. Anyone know?

Yep.
Look at what is going on there and one can see why they needed four blocks at 31st and Prospect.

For what they are building yes it is "needed". Now, if you change what they are building then that is a different story.

O, I get it:
Since they obviously, unequivocally "need" whatever they build, then whatever they build is what they "need".
Like a lawn the size of a golf course! I mean, since that's what they're building, they must need it, right? You need a lawn the size of a city park if you need to build a building with a lawn that needs to be the size of a city park in order to accomodate your need for a lawn the size of a city park when thats what you're building.
Seems like there a name for that kind of logic that just goes round and round and round, restating itself until it almost sounds true...

No, the design dictates the need. Change the design change the need. Much like you can have a one story building taking up two blocks or a two story building. Or you can have a 4 story building taking up 1/2 block.
