Spotted the notice on a bottom-of-the-screen ad on TV. TV Guide says it will air on Friday, 7/15/11 at 8:00 on KCTV (CBS Channel 3 to me). Couldn't find any more information about it. I've got my DVD recorder set. Might be interesting.
I knew twelve people who were there that night. One of them escaped death by opening the door for someone just before the balconies fell. The "someone" was killed. Scary evening out.

I know KCTV 5 gets a lot of crap for how they conduct their news, but they do produce more local content and seem to actually get involved in more local stuff than the other three stations combined.

Not sure if it's related, but there's supposed to be a panel discussion about this at the Central library on Sunday, I believe. It's a tie in with a book that's being released about it.
