Papa Murphy's would be good and they might be one in Shawnee in the future.

Construction and leasing have already begun for phase three of the development. Phase three will bring a number of junior box retailers, a fourth super anchor maybe Ross Dress for Less, a Jack in the Box restaurant, as well as a steakhouse, a family style restaurant, and two multi-tenant buildings.

If it doesn't have street-level retail, it's an abortion.
Re: "Official" Plaza at the Speedway
Why would it be a Tease? I could guess also TJMAXX and More or Mega Marshalls,Gordman's,Stein Mart,Menards or so on.
For Steakhouse Logans or Texas Roadhouse or Colton's or so on.
For Family Style Place 54 Street Grill or O'Charleys or so on.

Re: "Official" Plaza at the Speedway
I suppose this development is positive just because nothing KCK was so lacking in well, any retail or restaurants for so many years, but it doesn't seem like anything unusual or special at all. Just a bunch of cheap chain stores and crappy restaurants for people who think Red Lobster is actually good food. I've been to the Legends once and it seemed so odd to have all this development out in the middle of the woods.mgsports wrote: Thank's for letting us know the new things coming to. Hopefully the others come or other types like them.
We need more Red Lobster with the 2 here one in Overland Park and other in Olathe so busy.

Well I spent eighty dollars for three people.... if you consider that cheap then you must either be a doctor or a lawyer.pstokely wrote: Well it is cheap compared to real seafood places.
Anyways the food tasted good.... pretty sure their fish came out of the same ocean as those other guys

Is Red Lobster fish really tofu?pstokely wrote: Well it is cheap compared to real seafood places.
Funny, I didn't think that price had much to do with whether a place was real or not.
I may be right. I may be wrong. But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Whether a place is real or not??? LOL! Well I sat in a chair and didn't fall through it. Seemed to be real. May be I was dreaming.aknowledgeableperson wrote: Is Red Lobster fish really tofu?

Does McCormick and Schmidt's get their fish from a special ocean that the places that aren't "real" don't have access to?
Honestly I've ate at both now.... and it was the same.
Reminds me of that investigative report the KC Star did 2 years ago about whether that "real" fish you order at local "premium" seafood restaurants was really what you were getting. Red lobster was the only place the KC Star had lab tested that was actually serving what they claimed.
Some of the more "real" seafood restaurants including a place ran by a local celebrity chef were found to be lying about what kind of fish they were serving (typically serving a much cheaper fish and charging for a much more expensive fish) according to the Star's lab tests.
Re: "Official" Plaza at the Speedway
I remember that.

I, also, remember that.

Here was that discussion: http://forum.kcrag.com/index.php?topic=15890.0
Although the story isn't on KSHB site any more....
I'm not a seafood snob but if you can't tell the difference between Red Lobster and Bristol....I'm sad for you.

Re: "Official" Plaza at the Speedway
It isn't so much about telling the difference in the food but more about the price point.
Of course there are people who wouldn't step foot in the Bristol, or Reb Lobster, and prefer fish caught, cleaned, and prepared by themselves or would take a fried catfish at Catfish John's over those two places.
