Just like with Bobby Ewing a few decades back with the TV show Dallas.
I may be right.  I may be wrong.  But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Because I know you all were completely lost without me, I'd like to announce that I will be frequenting the forum again.  I just couldn't handle/get used to the other one.

I hope that our old issues can be resolved.

Someone took advantage of the fact that our webhost doesn't support such advanced features as "disabling FTP."

Honestly, I don't think it was a person. I think it was a bot that just spiders around, exploiting weak security configs. I've changed the password to a very long, nonsensical string of text. According to our esteemed web host, that's all I can do.

What kind of monthly transfer does the rag see, and how big is the db? I have a dual dual-core Opteron with 1.5Tb that will be going in a rack in the not-terribly-distant future.

The DB is about 1GB in size, uncompressed. I'd need to look at the traffic numbers though.
