kcskyscrapers.com accurate?
sometimes i think SSP and SSC (and other "skyscraper" sites) may be pigeonholing themselves with the "skyscraper" in the name. i bet skyscrapers are one of the least talked-about subjects on these forums. they are more just "city talk" or "development talk" sites.
we all know there is more to kcskyscrapers.com than kc's skyscrapers. maybe there can be a catchy new name to reflect that (and be featured on flyers or stickers or whatever)?

brew it up baby.....I registered the name based on other sites that you mentioned.
Problem now is can we really change it with all the hits we get?

I know what you are saying, Chiz. Its more than development also. Its more of a "quality of life in an urban setting" site. I'm not sure how you would condense that down to a website address or catchword though.
maybe a simple easily remembered slogan?

Are you sure we're talking about the same God here, because yours sounds kind of like a dick.

i agree. i say keep the kcskyscrapers.com name but have maybe another name forward to the current servers...so there are two domains (eliminates risking losing people who can't find the new site).
i'm bad at these kind of things, but that stlrising site domain is kindof cool, because it embodies the nature of the site--talking about the renaissance of the city. I'm not saying doing KCrising.com or anything, but something like that may be cool. I wouldnt necessarily pigeonhole it to downtown either.
maybe
cranesoverKC.com or something. i'll think :)

I say it is fine as is. No, it isn't necessary indicative of everything about the site, but it captures some of it. The rest becomes clear when you are here. If we market it, we just have to market it as more than its domain name.

Keep the skyscrapers name...that's how I found the site in the first place.
