Where O'Neill's Restaurant use to be and so on is Walgreens replacing them.

to clarify:  Ranchmart...95th & Mission, NW corner.  Oneills restaurant is moving (I think to the ranchmart side), Walgreens is constructing a new building.  Seems strange since CVS is right across the street in a brand new building (west end of Ranchmart).

Yep, it's pretty uncommon to even FIND a CVS or Walgreen's where the competitor isn't located within a block or so, if not right across the intersection. Pretty standard.

Backhoe was leveling the existing building this morning.  Should be gone by mid-afternoon.

in this metro area there are too many McDonalds, strip malls, Grocery stores, and CVS/Walgreens

In the lower Market Street/Financial District of San Francisco, I swear there is a Walgreens on every block.  Probably equal to the number of Starbucks.

This is a great article.  Those strip malls with the generic set of stores are a blight on the landscape.

atually there is no CVS near walgreens on the 135/Antioch area

But there's one at Quiviria Road and 135th Street and one in Cornerstone of Leawood.

There is no nearby Walgreens to the CVS in Red Bridge.  Closest one to CVS at Red Bridge Rd and Holmes is the Walgreens in Waldo (if memory is correct).

looks like the CVS at 95th and Nall is moving from next to TrueValue to the corner in same area as Savers

I also just found out the CVS next to HenHouse on 87th and Pflumn is moving accross the street on top of hte old gas station and jiffy lube and on 95th and Mission on the old Oniels will be walgreens

Theirs no Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy from I-35 and 119TH Street to Roe Avenue and from 135th Street and  Metcalf Avenue to 95th Street.
