Walgreens
Re: Walgreens
drink much?
Re: Walgreens
to clarify: Ranchmart...95th & Mission, NW corner. Oneills restaurant is moving (I think to the ranchmart side), Walgreens is constructing a new building. Seems strange since CVS is right across the street in a brand new building (west end of Ranchmart).

I may be right. I may be wrong. But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Yep, it's pretty uncommon to even FIND a CVS or Walgreen's where the competitor isn't located within a block or so, if not right across the intersection. Pretty standard.grovester wrote: walgreens and cvs have been doing this for years

Backhoe was leveling the existing building this morning. Should be gone by mid-afternoon.

Re: Walgreens
In the lower Market Street/Financial District of San Francisco, I swear there is a Walgreens on every block. Probably equal to the number of Starbucks.
Re: Walgreens
This is a great article. Those strip malls with the generic set of stores are a blight on the landscape.slimwhitman wrote: Too many McDonalds?

Re: Walgreens
There is no nearby Walgreens to the CVS in Red Bridge. Closest one to CVS at Red Bridge Rd and Holmes is the Walgreens in Waldo (if memory is correct).
