Waldo Pizza is opening a second location on Douglas in Lee's Summit. Should be open in June. They are also expanding their Wornall location into an adjacent storefront.

WRONG. heheh. it's already open. my parents and i got pizzas there last weekend! (the LS location).

it was great. here's what we got:

(1) 12" Waldo Veggie on honey whole wheat crust. grade: A
(2) 12" with eggplant, roma tomato, and spinach. grade: B (eggplant just ok).
(3) 12" with mushroom, pepperoni, and sweet red pepper. grade: A+++

i love pizza and this is my favorite place in the metro, even over minsky's.

Where is this? Downtown LS? I remember seeing the ad in the Pitch for both locations.

no it's in a new-ish strip center over off 470 and Douglas. there is an applebee's, sprint store, panera, megaplex movie theatre, etc in there too.
