Well worth the alleged "effort" it takes to get there!

Great food without the interruptions of man on man love-making we've come to expect in urban core establishments.

The Pendergast Poltergeist Project!
I finally divorced beer and proposed to whiskey, but I occassionally cheat with fine wine.

awesome food!
I've been there about 5 times, the menu changes everyday. Makes me wonder why a restaurant like this would be up north. The food is awesome the wines are priced nice without the high mark up. I went there last night, the beef dish I had blew me away! It was a petit filet with seared sea scallops, roasted garlic-potato puree, honey braised turnips with bleu cheese beurre blanc. The chef "Pete" talked with me for a bit, come to find out all his beef he is using now is raised healthy and free ranged from ranchers within 30 miles of his restaurant. It's dry aged for 14 days and it's black angus. The cost of the dish was 23.50! This place is truly a hiden treasure! If you live down south it's well worth the drive! My opus one last night cost me 130 a bottle (cheaper than stores). Wines by the glass are poured in 18 oz glasses with a seven ounce pour at 5.50 per glass! I just hope he never gets too busy, as it is on some weekends the restaurant turns away walkins. He's a one man kitchen and does everything in house from breads to sauces.

That settles it. Next time my turn to pick comes around in my weekly restaurant group, this is where we're going.
