Doghouse vs. Kietzman
I gotta go with my man Whitlock. Kietzman is probably a better all around show, but Whitlock is a KC icon who tells it like it is...no hype, no screaming, just blunt.

Whitlock is a self proclaimed bandwagoner. I can't stand the way he flip flops. He does represent the avg KC sports fan in that manner quite well though.
Kietzman is pro KC all the way no matter what. He's a hometown guy. For those reasons alone I go with him despite other obvious faults.

there are better, there are many many who are worse. Show me a city that has sold out a football stadium that hasn't won a playoff game in 10 years. (plus look at the size of the stadium)
Show me a city who's baseball attendance isn't horrible even though the team hasn't had an owner for many years or any idea of a plan until 2 years ago?
Mix in the support for Big 12 football/basketball and I think this is an above average sports city. Hovering just above average.
Bad sports cities? Atlanta, Miami, Phoenix, LA.

Looks like Whitlock has his own fan site now.... http://whitlockwatch.com/
Dan, there is always the Tigerboard (http://tigerboard.com) to supplement the KU Star.

The KU Star sucks.
