Dell Battery recall.....

...just want to make sure you all saw the battery recall. I know several here have Dell laptops.

I was worried about granddaughter's new 'puter, but its battery number isn't on the list.

The site looks like it makes it easy to trade your battery out if it is on the list.

my brother was telling me about this, his battery was ok. The website makes it pretty easy to check.

This is a really big deal. They're recalling 4.1 MILLION batteries. That's a LOT!

About time, too. They had like 4 or 5 explode on people.

Sony made these. They cost $50-70 to make, so Sony is going to be string a bit from this.

I swear Dell has recalled laptop batteries at least 8 times. Nothing as big as this.

It is probably due to the specs they put out to the vendors in order to get a cheaper price.

My granddaughter's battery is EURO which I'm not familiar with nor do I know if it is reliable.
