New City Crime Rankings
According to this morning's St Louis Post Dispatch, newly released crime rankings by Morgan Quinto Press list Kansas City at no. 28 of America's most dangerous cities (out of 350). Not good, but our friends in St Louis fell from No. 1 To No. 2 after Detroit took their spot. As a former St Louis resident I'll vouch for their ranking. Even only knowing a handfull of people, one was heldup for his car, another while walking into his home. Another was victim of carjacking and shot at. A year later he witnessed a carjacking murder at a gas station. For all of you who unexpicably envy St Louis city maybe this will help. In 2002 St Louis ranked #1 in crime and population loss.

Nothing like those liberal Democrat judges in ST Louis. Criminals must laugh at the criminal justice system there.

Surprisingly Topeka is one of the worst places for violent crime in America, having a murder rate that is more than double that of KCK. See everybody who said KCK sucks has obviously never been to Topeka.

And Topuka is very conservative, so I don't think the political leanings of a city cause high or low crime rates.

Since crime rates are directly tied to unemployment, one could say that neither generally accepted method of thinking, politically, is working.
