Olathe still in running for a minor league baseball stadium?

According to the Star today, it's still a real possiblity. KC have room for two minor league parks?

Too bad they are not in the same league, it would make an interesting rivalry, and probably create a larger interest in the people of both counties.
It does not really take that much of a population to have interest in a minor league team.
I wonder if any one of them could compete with the Royals and each other....... well, maybe not the Royals, but each other, at least.

Personally, the possibility of the new family arena being erected on the NE corner of 119th and I-35 gets me fired up!

NAIA national basketball finals, pro hockey and concerts 10 minutes from my home in a nice, new, easy to find family arena sounds awesome.
