Six Johnson County cities have responded to Major League Soccer's Request for Information, with a minimum of 16 different possible sites. While we are not currently privy to the exact details of these responses, we do know that the six cities are Olathe, Overland Park, Leawood, Gardner, DeSoto and Lenexa.
A group of 27 public officials from the county toured Pizza Hut Park and its surrounding fields in Frisco, TX on the day of the USA-Guatemala matchup.
Good news, in other words.
The process will now move forward as the league, in concert with both Hunt Sports Group and the potential new ownership group, decides which of these responses they will pursue further.

Wow, now DeSoto is getting in the stadium race, even if it is just soccer...

I really hope someone in the Metro locks up the Wizards... it's such a good deal for all of KC and the Regional cities.

I think you mean Johnson County.
JoCo wouldn't have to authorize all these freakin sales tax increases if we didn't have to subsidize all these businesses. I can't believe its really worth THAT much to lure Quintiles here.
