Does anyone really think W&R is coming downtown
The question that has never been answered is who will be paying off W&R's 13 year long term lease? Is this another attempt by Larry to tie up property and redevelopment rights and sit on it.

oh great....just what "South Loop" needs....tied up land...
good point, I'm not sure many know that W&R have a 13 year lease outstanding.

Not a chance that W&R will come downtown...Just another ploy by them to get $$. Don't they have a lease committment for the next 15 yrs? I think its an attempt for Bridges to get back development rights on the Jones store site. Didn't he have them before and let them expire? I think the bigger question is that they are actually trying to declare One KC Place and Town Pav blighted!! Give me a break!

They'll play all sides against each other until they get a deal they like then stay put.
Are you sure we're talking about the same God here, because yours sounds kind of like a dick.
