Bill Bryson wrote a wonderful book, called "A Walk In The Woods," chronicling his trek along the Appalachian Trail, that includes a fascinating, but harrowing account of his visit to Centralia. I'd like to see it, but maybe then again, in the interest of the preservation of my life, I wouldn't.
