The scooters were very unobtrusive in DC, at least over this weekend and in our limited area (Penn Quarter, Downtown, the Mall, Union Station, Georgetown, NoMa). That may have been because DC was crawling with people actually using them. We spent several hours on Monday chasing them around -- both Skip and Lime. I would be excited about the e-scooters here, pretty much regardless of how it's run.

We only saw one "abandoned" bike (broken handlebars, presumably not roadworthy).

Whatever is done with bikes, do the opposite of Dallas.
