This does not follow IMO. While I think I understand what you are trying to say- what you describe can occur whether through TDD formation or city-wide vote.

For example, the Northland voted "No" in the past election for the city-wide sales tax thats use will be solely restricted to economic development in a geographic area on the east-side, yet, because other areas of the city overwhelming passed the sales tax- the NorthLand's sales tax will be increased. That is the nature of voting.

The automatic application now worked for me. Last attempt it was not able to find my address (with condo unit #) even though typed exactly as on my Voter ID card. Now works.

If using this form living in apt/condo and don't have your ID card, try this format...
1234 Main St APT #
1234 XYZ Rd APT #

Didn't it pass in this area in 2014?

Voting yes is strongly correlated to distance from the line in 2014

Nope, because they just wasted a bunch of money on an untargeted direct mail piece. The campaign is reaching people in a more cost effective and targeted way.

That is one odd-looking vessel. Still, I could go for a nice cold pint of crumpled dollar bills, right about now.

pash wrote:Big surprise that Sherry DeJanes and CFRG have teamed up. Per Reddit, the address on the mailers is Sherry DeJanes's law firm, and she is registered as treasurer of Be Smart KC, the organization that sent them out. The videos hartliss linked confirm that, and make clear that CFRG paid for them.

I still can't believe that nobody in the local press has reported on DeJanes's squatting in KCATA's right of way, nor that the pro-streetcar side are failing to make it known that their most noisome opponent is literally leading a political campaign to protect her commandeering of public property for her own use.
On 4/21/17, "Save The Trolley Trail" posted on their Facebook page (as part of a discussion), "Actually, we are Smartkc which stands for Supporters of Modern Affordable Regional Transit." With Sherry listed as the treasurer of Smartkc, I think it's no deft feat of logic to conclude that she's likely the author of the Save The Trolley Trail Facebook page. It's rather rich to advocate saving the trail, then simultaneously fence part of it off by extending your backyard.

Granted I think the trail is likely a moot point by now as far as any future streetcar expansion is concerned, but jeez.

Oh, someday, I suppose that someone will stumble upon the collective oddities of 39.015224, -94.590256, the KCATA ROW, and the adjacent parcel owner and decide that others might want to know.
