KCK says goodbye to "The Bus"

If you've been to Kansas City Kansas lately, you will have noticed that the public transportation known as "The Bus" is transformed, and there are many new buses and all of the old buses have been painted and have the horrible name "Unified Government of Kansas City Kansas" printed on them instead. I believe this has something to do with congressman Dennis Moore's getting federal funds for the Kansas City transportation system. Ive also seen "The Jo" at KCKCC, which I live right across the street from. If I wanted to ride "The Jo" for two hours, I could actually get to work using public transportation, since there is a "The Jo" stop at the Shawnee Station apartments right behind the Wal-mart I work at.

Tragedy!

I always liked how, when I saw the Bus I thought I was in the middle of the Yellow Submarine- couldn't they have kept the paint?
