I signed up the other day for an annual pass and have access to 'My Account' on their site that shows the invoice, but there was no confirmation email or instructions on next steps. Did I see somewhere they mail you a card for annual passes?

First stations installed today. Checked one out and saw the operating hours were 5am-12am. Hadn't seen those hours anywhere before.

Can definitely go play with the screens on the stations...just nothing much to do.

Wonder if they will have "special event" temporary stands for like Riverfest or Celebration at the Station?

Looks like they do have in the Legend a type of station for special events.

So I've noticed some tweets coming from the KCATA... are they operating the bcycle service?

Yeah I saw that in the legend which made me ask the question...I'm sure that's a standard legend throughout the bcycle system...I wonder if our system has the ability to do special event stations or if that's a future enhancement.

The Crown Center station was just installed. Noticed it over lunch walk.

To do Special Events they'd probably need extra station modules hanging around, hopefully they have that. BTW, I took a close look at the modular approach and it looks like you can add modules by 4 bike slots at a time to any station. Some are solar powered, others are plugged in. The panel says it will start July 3rd.

Here's the Union Station one...

Thanks for the pics...although I don't think dropbox allows for direct linking...I can't see them unless I go follow the link.

Interesting location for Union Station....guess no plans to open up that circle drive anymore...which I'm fine with.

Great location at Crown Center.

Thanks, fixed them as links.

The Union Station circle drive on E Side is now filled in and curbed up so cars can't pull in. I would like to see them put a cover over the whole circle as a large bus/bike shelter.

All stations installed now. My annual pass card came in the mail. Am ready to give this a shot.

They have enough riders for installing the bikes next Friday but need help with other things...

I signed up, but I'm not sure if I got a confirmation or anything that they will need me. I'll have to double check.

So it's now launched with bikes in the stations.

Interesting that Crown Center is already slammed with no bike slots available.

Only 1 slot open at Union Station.

So I assume they have a full time person who manages the distribution of bikes so that a station isn't left full?

I wonder if that is due to people wanting to take the bikes out for a trial run.

A DJ was talking about this on the radio today, so word is definitely getting around.
