It will be interesting if Apple and Amazon choose Southern States like Atlanta or Dallas. I think it will create a huge economic shift from a geographic standpoint. Atlanta,and Dallas are likely on their way to be Alpha level global cities if we see a wave of tech companies move South maybe even supplanting Chicago as an Alpha global city in the next 20-30 years. NYC and LA will still be #1 and #2 cities but I really think Chicago is vulnerable and Dallas and Atlanta have what it takes to become the next Chicago.

Taking the KC economic border war nationwide!

First, they get insane incentives to locate the 2nd HQ. Then, every time they want to add jobs they'll play each HQ's city and state off of each other to see who will offer more incentives for the new jobs.

Will we see every big tech company has in a conservative state to avoid regulation? One in California, one in the South.
