Office Depot, Staples
Even those stores have a threat to survive - Amazon and online orders in general.

Most major retailers wont think about downtown until population doubles. Downtown must focus on more market rate housing as #1 priority. Once that happens the rest will come on its own.

Right, vintage and used media stores are still pretty viable, but not so much at downtown rents, I'd think.

BTW I think I saw a record store is opening in Westport, maybe next to Dave's. Was I seeing things.

True. Prospero's is raking it in. I hear they are in talks to sell to Barnes and Noble for an outrageous sum.

I expect a big box store (Target?) to jump in first. there's no way downtown can get the product categories they sell anywhere near as easy.

Barnes and Noble has a location at Country Club Plaza.

City Target? Foods Festival? Shopko? Nuts and Bolts? Huddle House is open 24/7 in Westport. Ozarkland? Ron John Surf Shop?
