"Historic" downtown living materials

Post by KCLofts »

I was doing flood cleanup in the basement this week and came across marketing materials that I had collected for many urban core condo and loft developments. Maybe 20-25 projects from the early- to mid-2000s.

Some projects were built and some never materialized. Some very slick marketing folders and some photocopies from Kinkos. Projects from River Market to the Plaza.

It provides an interesting view into the heyday of the condo market.

I know we have a few history and real estate buffs on the site. If anyone would be interested in this stuff, let me know.

Take the materials to the downtown library and donate to the Missouri Valley collection. This way it's available to the public and properly preserved.

Someone donating old project info is why we can see it today.

I recently started a thread about unbuilt/altered buildings in kc, so anything that would fit there would be appreciated.
