"GooBing"

Post by longviewmo »

Google's been doing Streetview long enough now that they're covering the same places multiple times. They've also made it really easy to switch between old and new photography. Bing is also doing something similar, which adds even more depth. This has given rise to "GooBing", or comparing how places transform with time. AFAIK, the original is Detroit's http://goobingdetroit.tumblr.com/, which has a few great transformations but is mostly really depressing.
