If you want to live near downtown, and in Pendleton Heights, and don't like old Victorian-era houses, you might be interested in this airy modern ranch-style home. It's a nice house overall. One might need to do some repainting and replace the wallpaper in baths and a couple of bedrooms. But overall, in good condition. It's also pretty rare to find a home swimming pool so close to downtown.

This appears to be a really good deal in the Old Northeast.

I'm surprised someone who replaced their entire front yard with sand would have such an eccentric decorating style.

I thought this social media + real estate page is interesting. It allows buyers to express interest in a house not for sale or sellers to put a house "out there" before they actually list it for sale. This is a map of people expressing interest. Not much in the 'burbs or east of Troost (no surprise). These tend to be single family hunters, so Midtown gets fewer "hearts". This seems to mimic the hottest locations for the single family market.

I find this 'house-stalking' shit to be an irritation, somewhere beyond food pics & funeral selfies. Oh white people. Keep on keepin' on.
