Is TimeWarner Cable available downtown?

When looking at the Western Auto building, they told me that TWC is not downtown. Bummer. DSL sucks and TWC has great HDTV options that is growing.

Did they get that wrong? What cable provider options are there DT?

Yeah, I know. Kill my TV.

I'm at the freighthouse, at 20th and wyandotte, we have TWC.
Are you sure we're talking about the same God here, because yours sounds kind of like a dick.

Yeah it is, maybe they just don't have it at that building?

What's wrong with DSL. I have it, costs me about the same as cable and I get static IP addresses.

Yeah I have it.....weird. It seems they would almost HAVE to provide some sort of cable service.

DSL is fine if you are close enough to the CO. I tried it out once and it crawled for me.

Maybe they went with Everest at Western Auto? That's who serves my office at P&L. Though I don't see why that couldn't be a tenant-by-tenant choice.

TWC has to service the whole city as part of their franchise agreement. The building's owner might have an agreement with someone else, but I haven't heard of any other company providing cable TV in that area. Everest is only as far north as Brookside. DSL isn't has improved a great deal in the last year or so. You might be able to get it through Earthlink, instead of SW Hell.
