Those in the opposition who like to claim that the arena will sit empty need to be reminded that one tenant is already on board, which is more than many other cities had when they built their now-successful arenas.
They also need to think logically... would private companies pump $50,000,000, $62,500,000, and $10,000,000 into the cost if they were not certain of a return on their investment?

What if the answer is no?

Remember, he arena already has a tenant.

Sure they would -- and have. Look, for example, at how much Sprint spent on flops such as MMDS. Happens all the time. Just because someone makes CEO or CFO doesn't mean that he knows what he's doing.scooterj wrote:They also need to think logically... would private companies pump $50,000,000, $62,500,000, and $10,000,000 into the cost if they were not certain of a return on their investment?
By the way, my comment isn't a criticism of the arena. Rather it's an observation on companies in general.
