A TV studio would be cool

P&L is KC's mini Times Square and it would be cool to see newscasts, local talk shows with the street activity behind scenes. That's the ideal spot if not 12th/Main.

P&L doesn't need another large sitdown restaurant, needs more variety.

This would definitely be a good spot for a TV studio.

I'd also like a Korean BBQ spot somewhere downtown.

It's time to start emailing all the TV stations in town and try to get one of them in that space. Ultimate importance for civic momentum. I'm not even sure if I'm being sarcastic or not wit this. I really would like to see a TV studio there.

It would also help with suburbanites' image of downtown/city, who primarily see crime on news. Seeing downtown functioning with pedestrians every day in a positive manner could really help change perceptions, especially for those who fear the city. The streetcar alone has helped but local TV news has been partly harmful to the city's image in past (especially the sensationalism) yet can also be a primary window towards a more positive image if they weren't so obsessed with the TV equivalent of click bait.

And Cordish should certainly want the free advertising of district in background with about four news casts every day.

I'm lost on a nice Mexican restaurant. Are we talking something like a Margaritaville?

Cantina Laredo is the stereotypical nice Mexican place. I think abuelos up north may also qualify

I was pleasantly surprised at Abuelo's. I figured it would be terrible, though, so my expectations may have been easy to surpass.

Type of business hint?

Shake Shack?

Does it fit the 'Nice Mexican Restaurant' mold that Cordish envisioned?

Pizza Ranch?

A fun nice Mediterranean place would be awesome.

this probably belongs in the 13th and main discussion but is there a vacant spot above protein house / mixx — basically the counterpart to the drunken fish upstairs patio?
