Thanks a lot. Could those a little closer to the project keep some of us that are not informed, with picture updates every couple floors or so. It"s very appreciated. :D

Progress has been pretty slow over the last month. They're taking their sweet time with the amenity level, and the holidays and cold temperatures didn't help.

Another view from Truman Rd:

That's what I saw on the 6th, they just moved up a floor on the west end.

So from the lowest end they're working on floor 9.

The current long row of decoration is the start of 3 for easy counting.

Looks like they are creating store fronts along Truman with a canopy at the corner of Walnut and Truman.

The glass looks different from the One Light glass, too.

Also appears to me that the floor plates look taller than One Lights? Maybe I'm wrong and it's just a matter of perception.

Does it look like a more blueish-green color like on their website? Maybe that will be be how they make the buildings stand out from one another.

it's hard to imagine that a little over a decade ago the power and light district was just a sea of parking lots. glad to see my hometown making a comeback! I'm looking forward to seeing the skyline a few years from now when the remaining towers and hotel are finished.

Two Light still has 14 more floors to go up! That's going to be a large presence.

A combination of pouring the pools and weather slowed progress over the last few weeks, but overall the project is on time. Several new retail tenants will be announced over the next few weeks, including some very modern and progressive concepts.

I heard that same rumor. I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Negative, but I wish! As a downtown resident, something like that is the missing piece. I don't think downtown is quite able to support such a place yet. This is just my personal thoughts and I have no knowledge of plans, but I'd think after Two Light gets opened and Three Light construction begins, it starts to look very appealing for a big (small) box store like a City Target or Target Express.

Target is planning hundreds of small stores. Could downtown KC qualify with a free streetcar extending the access?

Dense, urban areas and college towns are Target's focus for small-format locations. Fourteen of the 15 stores that Target is opening this year are small-format locations, with recent openings including Philadelphia and Cupertino, Calif.

I don't see Two Light having the space for anything good. It clearly was designed with small shops in mind.

Three Light is a different story. It can still be redesigned to fit a two-story retail store facing Main. A store entrance half a block from the streetcar stop would be a coup for Target and downtown.
